Ephphatha Ministries New Plymouth is a fellowship of born again believers who lay equal emphasis on God’s Word (The Holy Bible) and Holy Spirit Baptism based on the manner of the experience of the early apostles described in the book of Acts of the Apostles. A new revival movement that appeared at the turn of the twentieth century has penetrated the Christian Church globally. Believers who experienced salvation and fullness of the Holy Spirit discovered a divine solidarity among them and pledged to be united in worship, fellowship, scriptural instruction, and ministry. This gave birth to the General Council of the Assemblies of God in the United States of America in the year 1914, at Hot Springs, Arkansas. This born again experience fire spread all over the world, including New Zealand.
Ephphatha Ministries New Plymouth had its origin in October 2022 and is an integral part of Bethel Assemblies of God, Auckland, New Zealand (Registered Charitable Trust No. 2436523). Bethel Assemblies of God has its headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand and has branches in Wellington, Hamilton and New Plymouth.

We are passionate to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. We are sincerely dedicated to serve the needy in whatever way possible so that the Light of Jesus Christ will be radiantly visible through our lives.
Our vision is to raise up a generation of sincere, committed and dedicated God seekers and followers. This we strive through the passionate preaching and living of God’s word. Our present generation needs to pass on a Biblically oriented challenge to the next generation and we skillfully desire to live our lives worthy of our calling through fervent prayer and fellowship as we serve God with pure hearts and for a noble cause.

We are committed to follow these doctrines and we believe that they are the essentials to our Mission and Vision to reaching the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our sincere desire to stay committed to our principles so that we will be a Bible Oriented Group and the Shepherd’s Voice and Word will be carried forward in its fullest authenticity.
